That magical, meaning-filled day is almost here and we didn’t want it to pass without telling you how much you mean to us. We are so grateful for the opportunities you’ve given us this year to make, what we hope has been, a number of worthwhile contributions to your spiritual, relational and professional life.

We are deeply honored by your followship and partnership as we pass on to you books, blogs, podcasts and, soon, a new online course fresh from the lessons we’re learning in our own lives.

We’re as jazzed as ever to help you grow a healthy soul in 2018. Stay tuned!

So, as the year comes to an end and Christmas draws near our wish for you is be reconciled.

First, be reconciled to your life with all its beauty and brokenness. Surrender to whatever season you find yourself in and your anxiety and suffering will soon fall away. Receive all the bonuses and blunders, the sweetness and sorrow. Accepting where you are right now is the quickest way to gain the peace you long for.

Next, as much as is in your power, be reconciled toward anyone who has distanced themselves from you. Hurts abound for many of us this time of year, as we recognize there are still people who feel resentful or wounded by us. Due to circumstances beyond your control, it may be a reconciliation in your heart. But, after you have done all you know to do to improve the situation, it is enough.

Have compassion for their pain and their inability to be in a relationship with you right now. The last chapter has not been written.  We so often cling to this verse for our own unresolved situations,  “Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.” ( Rom 12:18) Let all resistance go. Accept that everyone, including you, is doing the best they can.

Finally, be reconciled with yourself. Really truly knowing you are lavishly loved by God (that reconciliation is forever yours)  exactly as you are is the most liberating experience in this life. It gives you the ability to accept and love yourself just as God does.

Nothing good comes from being at war with yourself. Embrace your humanity. Have compassion for your journey. God does. Agreeing with God about your inherent goodness even in the face of your flaws can truly set you free.

“...God was reconciling the world to Himself not counting their trespasses against them and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.” ( 2 Corinthians Chpt 5)

Merry Christmas! God is with you always!
